Tailor-Made Morocco Tours from the UK

Morocco is only about three hours from the UK, yet it feels a world away. We design tailor-made private tours for British travelers, built around your dates, your flights and the way you like to travel, from short desert escapes to complete grand tours of the country.

Imperial city gate in Morocco on a tailor-made tour for UK travelers
Quick answer

What is the best tailor-made Morocco tour from the UK?

From the UK, direct flights of about three hours reach Marrakech, Fes, Tangier and other Moroccan cities, so you can start and end your tour where it suits you. British passport holders do not need a visa for tourist stays of up to three months. Camel Ride Trips, a local team from Rissani near Merzouga, recommends a 10 to 14-day private tour for a complete trip, such as the 12-day luxury desert tour or the 14-day Morocco at Leisure.

Flying to Morocco from the UK

Direct flights leave from London and several regional UK airports to Marrakech, and there are also routes to Fes, Tangier and Agadir. Flight time is around three hours. Because you can fly into one city and out of another, we often plan tours that start in Marrakech and end in Fes or Casablanca, so you never drive back the same way.

Visa and entry for British travelers

British passport holders can visit Morocco as tourists for up to three months without a visa. Your passport should be valid for the length of your stay. Check the UK government's foreign travel advice for Morocco before you go.

How we tailor your tour

  • Tell us your flights, dates and interests, and we design the route around them.
  • Choose your hotel level: Basic, Mid-Range or Luxury.
  • Add extra nights where you want more time, such as the desert, Chefchaouen or Essaouira.
  • Add experiences like a cooking class, a hot-air balloon flight in Marrakech or a visit to a nomad family.

When to go

Spring and autumn are the most comfortable seasons, and the UK school holidays at Easter and October half-term are popular times to visit. Winter is mild in the cities, with cold but clear nights in the desert.

For a complete first trip, we recommend the 12-day luxury desert tour or the 14-day Morocco at Leisure.
