Questions About This Luxury Tour

What makes this a luxury Morocco desert tour?

Every night is in a five-star hotel, a boutique riad or a luxury desert camp with private tents and en-suite bathrooms. You travel in a private air-conditioned 4x4 or premium minivan with your own driver-guide, and licensed local guides show you Fes and Marrakech.

How many nights are spent in the Sahara?

Two. The first is in a luxury desert camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes after a sunset camel ride. The second follows a full day exploring the Merzouga area by 4x4, with Gnawa music in Khamlia and a visit to a nomad family.

Is 12 days a good length for Morocco?

Yes. Twelve days lets you see the north, the imperial cities, the Sahara, the kasbah valleys, Marrakech and the Atlantic coast without long rushed days, and it includes two nights in Chefchaouen, Fes and Marrakech.

Does the tour start and end in Casablanca?

Yes. It is a round trip from Casablanca Mohammed V Airport, so it suits travelers flying in and out of Casablanca.

Can I customize this 12-day itinerary?

Yes. The tour is private, so you can add nights, upgrade to suites, add a hot-air balloon flight in Marrakech or a private dinner in the dunes, or change the end city.

Which meals are included?

Breakfast every day and dinners in Merzouga and the Dades Valley. Vegetarian and vegan meals are available.

Can I choose a different hotel level?

Yes. This tour is available in Basic, Mid-Range and Luxury. The route, driver-guide and local guides stay the same; only the hotels, riads and desert camp change, along with the price.

Shorter options: the 7-day luxury tour, the 9-day Imperial Cities & Sahara or the 11-day tour with Essaouira.
