Your private driver welcomes you at Casablanca airport, your hotel or any meeting point you choose. The first stop is the Hassan II Mosque, built over the Atlantic, with one of the tallest minarets in the world and remarkable hand-carved wood, marble and zellige tilework.
In the afternoon, drive to Rabat, Morocco's calm capital. See the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the white-and-blue lanes of the Kasbah of the Udayas above the Bou Regreg River.
🛏 Overnight: Luxury hotel or riad in Rabat, dinner included
- Day 2
Rabat → Chefchaouen
Head north through green hills, olive groves and farming villages to Chefchaouen, the Blue City, set against the Rif Mountains.
Spend the afternoon wandering its blue stairways, small artisan shops and Outa El Hammam Square, then watch the light change over the mountains from a rooftop terrace.
🛏 Overnight: Boutique riad in the Chefchaouen medina
- Day 3
Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
Drive through the Rif countryside to Volubilis, a UNESCO-listed Roman city with well-kept floor mosaics, a triumphal arch and temple columns.
Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco's four imperial cities, for Bab Mansour, El Hedim Square and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Arrive in Fes by late afternoon.
🛏 Overnight: Luxury riad in Fes
- Day 4
Private guided tour of Fes
Spend the day with a licensed local guide in Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO-listed medina and one of the largest car-free urban areas in the world. Start at the golden gates of the Royal Palace.
Inside the medina, see Al Quaraouiyine, often described as the oldest operating university in the world, the carved cedar and stucco of the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Chouara tanneries, artisan workshops and the old Jewish Quarter. End with a view over the rooftops of the old city.
🛏 Overnight: Luxury riad in Fes
- Day 5
Fes → Ifrane → Cedar Forest → Ziz Valley → Merzouga
Drive south through Ifrane and the Middle Atlas, stopping in the cedar forest near Azrou to see the Barbary macaques. After lunch, follow the Ziz Valley, a long ribbon of palm groves through the desert.
In late afternoon, reach the Erg Chebbi dunes and ride a camel into the Sahara at sunset. At the luxury camp, settle into your private tent with its own bathroom, then enjoy dinner and Berber music by the fire under the stars.
🛏 Overnight: Private tent in a luxury Sahara camp, dinner included
- Day 6
Merzouga → Rissani → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley
Wake up for sunrise over the dunes, enjoy breakfast at camp and try sandboarding before returning to Merzouga by camel or 4x4.
Drive through Rissani, an old caravan town with a lively traditional market, then walk between the tall cliffs of the Todra Gorge. Continue to the Dades Valley along its famous winding road, past kasbahs and unusual rock formations.
🛏 Overnight: Boutique hotel in the Dades Valley, dinner included
- Day 7
Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech
